利用中国天眼(FAST),我们对 20 个超高光度和极高光度红外星系开展了快速射电暴(FRB)深度搜索。结合恒星形成率、观测时间和爆发能量分布建立统计框架,本工作首次在总体样本层面对单位恒星形成率对应的 FRB 活动进行了定量限制,结果表明,极端恒星形成环境并不会显著增强可观测的 FRB 爆发活动。 Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST), we conducted a deep search for fast radio bursts (FRBs) in 20 ultra- and hyper-luminous infrared galaxies. By developing a statistical framework that incorporates star formation rates, observing time, and burst energy distributions, this work provides the first population-level constraint on FRB activity per unit star formation, demonstrating that extreme starburst environments do not necessarily enhance observable FRB activity.

本工作比较了具有致密持续射电源(PRS)的快速射电暴宿主星系与贫氢超亮超新星、富氢超亮超新星、普通核心坍缩超新星及非 PRS FRB 宿主的性质。通过恒星质量、比恒星形成率、气相金属丰度及统计分布检验,我们发现 FRB–PRS 宿主最接近贫氢超亮超新星宿主,并集中在低质量、高比恒星形成率和低金属丰度的极端环境中。这表明 FRB–PRS 可能并非普通 FRB 的随机子样本,而更可能与低金属丰度大质量恒星形成的年轻磁星有关。 This work compares the host galaxies of fast radio bursts associated with compact persistent radio sources (FRB–PRS systems) with those of hydrogen-poor and hydrogen-rich superluminous supernovae, ordinary core-collapse supernovae, and FRBs without detected PRSs. Using host stellar mass, specific star formation rate, gas-phase metallicity, and statistical distribution tests, we find that FRB–PRS hosts most closely resemble hydrogen-poor superluminous supernova hosts and preferentially occupy extreme low-mass, high-sSFR, and low-metallicity environments. These results suggest that FRB–PRS systems are not simply a random subset of the general FRB population, but may instead be linked to young magnetars formed through low-metallicity massive-star channels.
